Crested Treeswift couple
I was supposed to post it yesterday with the Bandipur list, but this one missed it for some reason. I've always seen crested treeswifts in pairs and they sure look like a happy couple all the time.

The smaller one to the right is the male.

Here's a side view of the Crested treeswift female.

The male's identical, except that it is smaller and has red cheeks!

Why is the male the smaller one? Do you know how the males guard their territories? (if they are territorial at all)
Smashing 'tail-fins' by the way.

In most bird species, males are smaller...
