And the smaller mammals...
The Serengeti is so full of animals that you almost begin to feel you're in a gigantic zoo. The herbivores are everywhere and the carnivores are all neatly spaced out. It is only a matter of time before you've seen all the heavyweights of the park then. It is only the smaller of the mammals that are less sought after but even they seem to be abundant nonetheless. There is still so much to see, but for now here are few of the smaller mammals from the plains of the Serengeti.

A Baboon.

A Vervet monkey and her baby

A male Vervet

A Rock Hyrax - a relative of the elephants!

A Bush Hyrax - on a tree

A Dwarf Mongoose

Banded Mongoose

Slender Mongoose

A Serval!

Cool! pictures!

Lord Krishna was always depicted having dark blue skin in pictures although he really was dark skinned guy. I always wondered how a person would look for real if he or she had that dark blue skin. Your baboon answered that question! :)

Although I am not saying Krishna is Baboon. Ha! LOL!

So lovely!
I have to say, that baboon looks like a money lender sizing you up as to how much you can pay!

Lovely....thank you! Did you get any explanation about those blue parts of the vervet monkey? Our guide could not give us any theory...and I forgot to google (sorry about that word!) for it.
