Bryce Canyon - part 2
The sunset and sunrise are much anticipated events at Bryce and large crowds gather at the viewpoints early to get the best spots. I can just say that you've got to see it for yourself!

these are all incredible!

and i want a hopi chipmunk! :-)

so, how much time did you spend here to get all these fantastic variations of light and shadow on the landscape? did you camp out or did you rush off from some hotel before sunrise to get there in time? did you drive around a lot or are all the pictures basically from the same place? logistics, please!

all i can say is that you've got to be opportunistic. you have a fair idea of places to visit, but it needs to be flexible. Bryce Canyon was small place and I did camp close to the viewpoints (about 5 minutes drive)

Spectacular, Yathin! I actually caught my breath on several of those photos. You are quite gifted. The subject matter is amazing, too.

I have one more species from Grand Canyon... hummers need a lot of time to seek and snap!

More incredible pictures... these are all beyond words. Thank you for the treat, Yathin! How I wish I was there too!

(Both kolibri and chipmunk look so familiar to me! :))

We have a granddaughter who is very beautiful and single and and.. oh well. You are so perfect, Yathin.

Alas, she is only 19.

You have really surpassed yourself with these images Yathin. *bows and takes hat off*. Will be bookmarking this entry to see it repeatedly...

I must say, I was scrolling down, and the sudden change of scale from the hoodoos to the hopi was just TOO much for me to take...I was imagining, for a second, a giant chipmunk sitting on the mountain ranges! :)

What an amazing piece of equipment, too, that can bring the joy of those colours and effects, however watered down they may seem when compared with the original, to those who cannot be there in person! Thank you so much. Never go anywhere without your camera! Woh ca"mera" nahin hai, woh ca"hamara" hai...we shall share in the joy of every image that you show us.
