I've still not seen a leopard in the wild and I was hoping to catch a glimpse of it at Harsha's territory in Kabini. He had taken a snap of a resident leopard and there had been good sightings of them in the forests nearby so the time seemed appropriate to go there. So, Kalyan, Noella and I drove to Kabini on a Saturday morning and decided to stay there for a few days. The idea was to catch up with Harsha as well as (hopefully) get some good wildlife photographs. Kabini is a fantastic place and is very close to my heart for a variety of reasons and one of them is being able to see so many elephants. It's almost unimaginable that we see at least a hundred elephants are times along the back waters and that's a considerable population of elephants given their endangered status!

Anyways. We did not see a leopard or even a tiger, but we did see something interesting...

I just love your pics and i've been reaching your blog through one or the other mutual friends. This time round through bhavanar.

I noticed that you've added watermark copyright symbol at the bottom now. Just wanted to suggest using digital watermarking if you seriously want to be able to tell if someone copied your image.

Well, If someone's really desperate to copy the image and make use of it commercially, there aren't many ways to stop them. If people want to use my images for any purpose other than making money they are welcome to do that and that's one of the reasons I've not thought about this too much. :)
