A Western Ghats Lizard
While most people who visit the wild go after big game like felines and the big herbivores, they hardly notice the diversity among birds and almost never look for beautiful plants and reptiles.

What? Wasn't the picture hidden behind lj-cut? And didn't Yathin mention 'lizard'?

(Or did he do it after you posted your comment?)
Yathinyathin on March 2nd, 2005 07:55 am (UTC)
I put it behind a cut after Dilip requested me to do it.

So Dilip was'nt involved in the famous Snake that was presented to Deepti (or was it Divya) ?
Dilip Sankarreddydilip on March 2nd, 2005 09:17 am (UTC)
Yep even i was involved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its not that i am afraid of snakes.. when i was a kid and was going to wells to swim, snakes were also swimming right next to me!!

but still i consider snakes as an ugly creature... and dont really enjoy them...

and it was Santosh who was the main person instrumental in presenting the snake to Divya..

Why should anyone be afraid of photographs? If it's a phobia then you should get psychological help.

I like snakes. Non-poisonous ones are quite safe to handle even for first timers (just don't damage their scales). They are not slimy, contrary to popular belief, instead their skin is really dry, a lot like plastic or leather.

It's not sharpening ... I did'nt do any post processing - it's just the JPEG compression! :)

What exactly is this? It's beautiful and scary and seems to have a no-nonsense-with-me attitude.
