Fantastic shot of the waterfall. Your photography is always spectacular but this shot is absolutely breath taking.

Yosemite is one of my favorite places on earth. I have been going there since I was a little kid, so at least 50 years. Way back when I first went they used to build a huge fire and push it off Glacier Point and yell over the Valley: "Let the Fire Fall!!" Spectacular to see, but not eco friendly.

I have also been on a mule trip to the back country.

I have been to many National Parks, and Yosemite is still my favorite.

i some how prefer the darker mightier recent pics.. the power of water is portrayed wonderfully in your pictures ...

as a minor note.. yosemite is not the tallest in north america.. there is one unnamed waterfall in british colombia that is considered the tallest.. the colonial creek falls in washington (and one more in washington or idaho forgot)is more than a 100 foot higher than yosemite.. although official measurements are pending.

I made a one day trip to Yosemite over the weekend and I must say, I have never seen anything more breathtaking than this place! I could visit just the Vernal Falls, and I can nly imagine how Yosemite falls would have been.
