Trees and Flowers...  





Olmsted point. Life on granite can be difficult for a young tree. It only has to keep looking at the big one for inspiration to go on...

no clue what the flower could be. i think [info]rivendweller or [info]idahoswede would be able to identify it. :)

Oh, the colours and the utter "rightness" of your thought in the first pic...frankly, that's the same thought that would have occurred to me....and the light in the second picture...how wonderful that the internet allows me to see such great photographs, taken by someone halfway across the world.
